• 4500K white with motion sensor. It adds presence detection: it reacts when someone passes nearby. The logical choice at the entrance to the house or on the stretch of patio you walk at night.
• Selectable temperature (CCT), GENK model. It lets you choose the shade of white among the options on the unit, so you can adjust it once installed depending on whether you are after atmosphere or function.
• RGB+CCT. It adds RGB color to tunable white. This is the spike for setting the mood at an outdoor meal or on a group of plants, with the option of going back to white when you need to see properly.

Where to push solar spike lights in

Because they go into soil, this kind of solar patio light finds its place in the soft areas of the plot:

Can solar spike lights be pushed into any ground?

They need soil or soft compost. On concrete or hard paving there is nowhere to push the point in, so a pot or a flower bed is the answer there.

Do they need cables or an electrical installation?

No. Each spike is self-contained: the panel captures the energy and the battery stores it, so no power point or conduit is required.

What is the difference between CCT and RGB?

CCT changes the shade of white, from warmer to more neutral. RGB adds colored light. The RGB+CCT model combines both options.

Can they be taken out to mow the lawn?

Yes, and it is one of the advantages of the format: you pull them out by the body, mow, and push them back into the same spot.
