POTSDAM is a 72 W linear LED pendant available in two references: black 195 cm and white 200 cm. It comes in 2700K, 4000K and 6000K, and its most telling figure is not the wattage but the UGR17.

What UGR17 means

UGR is the unified glare rating: it measures how much discomfort a fitting causes in the field of view of whoever is underneath it. The lower the value, the less it glares. A UGR17 means a notable degree of brightness control for a suspended linear fitting: the light reaches the working plane without the source turning into a harsh point when you look up.

Why it matters where there are screens

In front of a screen, the problem is rarely a lack of light: it is the reflections and the contrast between a dark background and a very bright source. A UGR17 fitting suspended at a sensible mounting height cuts the specular reflections on the glass and softens that jump in luminance, so the eyes tire less over long days.
