MUNICH Linear Batten Light: choosing between the standard format and the MINI

The MUNICH Linear Batten Light is a surface fitting that screws to the ceiling and comes in two formats: the standard and the MUNICH MINI. They share the same three finishes, white, black and silver, and the IP54 rating; they differ in lengths and colour temperatures.

Two series of lengths

The standard format works with round sizes: 0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2 m. The MINI starts from a slightly shorter series, of 0.44, 0.94, 1.44 and 1.94 m. That difference of a few centimetres settles it in most cases: if the stretch of ceiling is boxed in between two physical limits and the round size will not go in, the MINI fits; if the run is open or you need to make exact metres add up, the standard is easier to calculate with.

Colour temperatures: where the difference lies

Both formats offer 2700K, 4000K and 6000K. The standard adds 5000K, a cooler white than 4000K without going as far as 6000K. If that is precisely the temperature you need, the choice is already made.
