24V COB LED strip with 12W/m, 480 LED/m and 130 lm/W, a luminous flux of 1560 lm/m, IP65 protection and a 30-metre reel. Its COB technology provides continuous, uniform lighting, with silicone for improved protection and durability. Features an 8 mm PCB, cutting every 5 cm and cable output at both ends. Includes a transparent red acrylic film with double-sided adhesive for easy installation. Do not submerge in water.
What it consumes, not how much light it gives. To compare light, look at the lumens.
The voltage it connects to. 220-240V goes straight to the mains; 12V or 24V needs a separate driver.
Light colour: 3,000K warm (living room, bedroom), 4,000K neutral (kitchen, office), 6,000K cool (warehouses, outdoors).
How faithfully colours are shown, from 0 to 100. CRI 80 is good for indoors; 90 or more for shops, food and clinics.
Amount of light it emits. It is the figure for comparing brightness: a classic 60W bulb gave about 800 lm.
How many chips it has and of what type. SMD: even light; COB: concentrated light, typical of spotlights.
Width of the light beam. Narrow (15-36º) to highlight an object; wide (90-120º) to light an area.
Whether the brightness can be lowered and with which system (TRIAC, 1-10V, DALI). Each system needs its own dimmer.
Efficacy of the LED chip alone, in the lab. It shows the chip quality; the real light output is the product’s luminous efficacy.
Light it gives per watt consumed. From 100 lm/W it is efficient; over 150 is high-end.
Marks that certify safety and quality: CE mandatory in Europe, RoHS free of hazardous substances, TÜV tested by an independent lab.
Protection against dust and water. IP20 dry indoor areas; IP44 bathrooms and kitchens; IP65 outdoors in the open; IP68 submersible.
Body material. Aluminium dissipates heat better and extends the LED’s life; plastic is lighter and cheaper.
