Frequently asked questions about LED filament bulbs

Do they give less light than standard LED bulbs?

Yes, slightly. An LED filament bulb emits 300-800 lumens, compared to the 800-1100 of a standard bulb of the same power. Their aesthetic value compensates for this difference.

Are they dimmable?

There are dimmable and non-dimmable models. Check the technical data sheet before buying if you need to regulate the light intensity with a dimmer.

What colour temperature do they have?

Usually 2200K-2700K (warm amber light) to emulate the classic incandescent filament. Some modern models are also available in 3000K.

How long do they last?

Approximately 15,000-25,000 hours, similar to standard LEDs and far superior to incandescent and halogen bulbs (1,000-2,000 hours).
