Solar LED floodlights and projectors for outdoors
A solar LED floodlight is the answer when you have to light a large surface and there is no electrical supply nearby. Our solar LED projectors run from 4 W to 200 W, with luminaires from 1100 to 3200 lumens, IP65 protection, three selectable color temperatures on the unit itself, remote control and a PIR sensor on part of the range. There are solar work lights for warehouses and building sites, ALL IN ONE models and portable versions.
What a solar projector is for
The outdoor solar floodlight does not spread light point by point: it throws a wide beam that covers a whole area in one go. A well-placed solar flood light makes a courtyard, a warehouse facade or a loading area usable again. And because the photovoltaic panel and the battery are part of the unit, it lights up without bringing power out there.
Work, building sites and temporary uses
This is where the solar work light becomes almost essential. On a building site, the temporary supply takes time to arrive and moves every few days. In a warehouse with no light points, wiring a corner means construction work. In a shed or a storage area there is no grid at all. A solar panel floodlight goes up, works that night and comes down when the activity moves on.
ALL IN ONE or separate panel
ALL IN ONE models build panel, battery and luminaire into a single body: one element, one fixing and a fast installation. The alternative is the floodlight with a separate panel, joined to the projector by a cable, which lets you leave the luminaire in a shaded spot and take the panel to a roof with good exposure. The rule is simple: if the point where you want the light gets sun, the all in one solar light is the most convenient; if not, separate the panel.
Portable solar floodlights
Portable solar floodlights are a category of their own: they are not anchored, they are carried. There is a 50 W portable projector with three temperatures and IP65 to put light wherever it is needed each day, and a compact 4 W model that doubles as a power bank with USB charging, handy for camping or a van.
What to look at before buying
- Surface to cover: the wider it is, the more lumens and power you need; the range goes up to 3200 lumens.
- Sun exposure: all in one or separate panel depending on the orientation of the site.
- Color temperature: three-temperature models switch from warm to neutral or cool light depending on the use.
- Remote control: the handset switches the floodlight on and off and changes the color temperature from a distance.
- PIR sensor: fitted on part of the range, so the floodlight reacts as you pass.
- IP65: protection against dust and water jets, essential outdoors with no shelter.
Portable, fixed or high power
If you need light in one spot and on the move, go for the portable one. To cover a courtyard or a facade permanently, fit a 100 W fixed projector. And if the surface is genuinely large, the 200 W solar floodlight with 2700 lumens is the one that carries that job.
Choose your solar LED floodlight and put light where the cable does not reach. Compare outputs and take home the model that fits your courtyard, your warehouse or your next day's work.
Frequently asked questions
Is a solar floodlight any good for lighting a warehouse or a site with no power?
Yes. It is one of its main uses: with the panel and battery built in it works with no electrical supply, so it goes up and comes down as the work progresses.
What does ALL IN ONE mean on a solar projector?
That the photovoltaic panel, the battery and the luminaire are in a single body. It is installed as one piece, with a single fixing.
What is the remote control on these floodlights for?
To switch the floodlight on and off and to change between its three color temperatures without physically reaching the luminaire.
What is the difference between a fixed and a portable solar floodlight?
The fixed one is anchored and always covers the same area. The portable one is moved around, and one of the models includes a power bank with USB charging.
