220V LED strips: IP65 outdoor, 20M and 50M reels, COB and linear

220V LED strips are the most practical option when you need large lighting runs without complications. They connect directly to the 220V-240V mains supply, with no external power supply, which simplifies installation and reduces the total cost of the project. At Factorled you'll find IP65 outdoor LED strip, 20M LED strip, 50M LED strip, linear LED strip, 220V COB LED strip and versions in warm light and cool light to cover any need.

220V LED strips: direct installation, no transformer

The main advantage of 220V LED strips is that they connect directly to the mains via a compact AC/DC rectifier, with no need for a bulky power supply. This makes them the favourite choice for façades, shop windows, terraces, gardens, warehouses, storage units and construction projects, where simplicity and long runs are valued.

IP65 outdoor LED strip: weatherproof

The IP65 outdoor LED strip has a special coating that protects it against dust, rain and jets of water. It is the perfect option for outdoor installations: façades, pergolas, terraces, balconies, gardens, porches and outdoor commercial areas. Its robust construction guarantees stable operation for years, even in adverse weather conditions.

20M LED strip: continuous lighting without amplifiers

The 20M LED strip is designed for long runs on a single reel, with no need to join several sections or install amplifiers. It is the ideal option for lighting roof perimeters, fences, long decorative lines, commercial façades or industrial units, saving installation time and additional costs.

50M LED strip: maximum length for professional projects

The 50M LED strip is the star solution for large surfaces. It allows you to light complete runs with a single reel, which greatly simplifies project logistics. Common in civil works, large-scale hospitality, theme parks, trade fairs, industrial units and logistics centres.

Linear LED strip: a uniform and attractive line of light

The linear LED strip offers an even distribution of light along its entire length, with no visible dots or dark areas. It is the preferred choice in architectural and decorative projects where the aesthetics of the line of light are as important as the lighting function itself.

220V COB LED strip: a continuous line of the highest quality

The 220V COB LED strip combines the best of COB technology (fully continuous light, with no dots) with the convenience of a direct mains connection. The result is a uniform line of light, with no shadows, ideal for architectural profiles, cornices, façades, stairs or premium settings in hospitality and retail.

Warm light or cool light LED strip: choose the atmosphere

The warm light LED strip (3000K) provides a cosy feel, perfect for residential façades, terraces and rest areas. The cool light LED strip (6000K-6500K) offers a crisp, technical light, ideal for industrial units, garages, warehouses and commercial projects. Also available in neutral light (4000K) for mixed uses.

Frequently asked questions about 220V LED strips

Do I need a transformer for a 220V LED strip?

No. The 220V LED strip connects directly to the mains via a small AC/DC rectifier that is included. It does not need an external power supply, unlike 12V or 24V strips.

What advantages does a 220V LED strip have over a 24V one?

The 220V LED strip allows much longer runs (up to 50 metres) without an amplifier, does not need an external supply and simplifies installation. On the other hand, its dimming is more limited, so for projects requiring dimming or RGB, low-voltage strips are usually more flexible.

Can I cut a 220V LED strip to size?

Yes, but only at the cutting points marked by the manufacturer (usually every 50 or 100 cm). Cutting outside those marks renders the corresponding section unusable, as each section is powered independently.

Are 220V LED strips suitable for outdoor use?

Yes, provided they have at least IP65 protection. For areas with heavy rain or direct exposure to water, IP67 or IP68 is recommended. Always check the IP rating shown on the product sheet before installation.

Which colour temperature should I choose?

For residential settings and decorative areas, opt for warm light (3000K). For technical lighting, garages, units or shops, cool light (6000K) offers greater clarity. Neutral light (4000K) is a good compromise for mixed-use areas.
