How many emergency lights do I need in my premises?

It depends on the m2 and the layout of the premises. Regulations require at least one light every 15 linear metres and at each exit, staircase or change of direction.

What maintenance do they require?

The batteries are replaced every 4-5 years. Regulations require a periodic inspection and documented maintenance to comply with technical inspections.

What is the difference between BAS and BAES?

The BAS is a standard self-contained safety block. The BAES is sealed (IP55+), suitable for damp areas or covered outdoor spaces.

Are LED emergency lights mandatory in homes?

In private homes they are not mandatory, but they are in the common areas of residents' associations: entrances, garages, storage rooms, stairs and exits.
