LED power supplies and drivers: 12V, 24V, IP67 and for LED strips

LED power supplies and drivers are the heart of any professional LED installation. A good power supply guarantees a stable voltage, extends the service life of the luminaire and prevents flickering. At FactorLED you will find 12V LED power supplies, 24V LED power supplies, LED drivers, LED transformers and IP67 LED power supplies for all kinds of projects: indoor, outdoor and pools.

12V and 24V LED power supplies

12V and 24V LED power supplies are the most widely used in LED strips, profiles, flexible neon and illuminated furniture. They offer power ratings from 12W to 400W with efficiency above 90%, protection against overloads and short circuits, and a compact design for discreet integration.

LED drivers: constant current for panels and downlights

Constant current LED drivers are mandatory for professional luminaires such as panels, downlights, ceiling lights and high bays. We have dimmable drivers (TRIAC, 1-10V, DALI) and premium brands such as Philips, Osram and Mean Well.

IP67 LED transformers for outdoor and damp areas

IP67 LED power supplies and LED transformers with a waterproof case are designed for installations outdoors, in gardens, on façades, in pools or any environment with humidity or water splashes. A safe and professional choice.

Frequently asked questions about LED power supplies and drivers

What is the difference between an LED power supply and a driver?

The LED power supply delivers a constant voltage (12V or 24V), ideal for LED strips. The LED driver delivers a constant current (mA), required for professional luminaires such as panels or downlights.

How do I choose the power of the power supply for my LED strip?

Calculate the total consumption (W/m × metres) and add a 20% safety margin. A 10m strip with 14W/m consumes 140W: you will need a power supply of at least 168W (12V or 24V depending on the strip).

What does the IP67 rating mean on an LED power supply?

The IP67 rating indicates total protection against dust and resistance to temporary immersion in water. It is the recommended standard for power supplies installed outdoors, in gardens or in damp areas.

Are LED drivers dimmable?

There are non-dimmable models and dimmable models compatible with TRIAC, 1-10V or DALI. Always check on the datasheet whether your luminaire requires a dimmable driver.
