Frequently asked questions about round LED downlights
What hole diameter do I need?
It depends on the wattage and model. Generally: 6W requires 70-85 mm, 12W 110-120 mm, 18W 145-160 mm, and 24W 175-200 mm.
Can I change the colour temperature?
There are models with selectable CCT (3000K, 4000K, 6000K) via a switch on the back. A single fitting, three light options.
Are they suitable for bathrooms?
Only the IP44 or IP54 models. Always check the protection rating before installing in bathrooms, changing rooms or damp areas.
How long does it take to install?
Once the hole has been made in the ceiling, installing the recessed round downlight takes just 5 minutes: connect the cable, fit the driver and push the fitting into place.
