FILADELFIA MINI Linear Recessed Profile: 24V and monochrome coloured light

The FILADELFIA MINI Linear Recessed Profile is a recessed profile with a body in a silver finish running at 24V. It offers three white colour temperatures — 3000K, 4000K and 6000K — and three fixed monochrome colours: blue, green and red. The body is always silver; blue, green and red are colours of light, not of the housing.

Why 24V in a recessed installation

Working at 24V low voltage has an advantage when the profile sits inside the ceiling: the supply is run with low-voltage wiring and the driver is placed outside the mounting aperture, at an accessible point. That simplifies maintenance of a fitting which, once flush, is no longer reachable from the room.

What a run of blue, green or red light is for

A recessed line in fixed monochrome colour is not there to light: it marks. It works for signage and for an architectural accent —outlining where a ceiling begins, underlining a transition between volumes— where a steady colour matters more than a changing scene. Being flush, it appears as a clean incision of light.

Frequently asked questions

Is the profile blue, green or red?

No. The body of the FILADELFIA MINI is silver in every version. Blue, green and red are colours of the light it emits, selectable at purchase.

Why does it run at 24V?

Because it is a recessed profile, 24V lets you run the supply with low-voltage wiring and leave the driver outside the aperture, at an accessible point in the ceiling.

Which lengths are available?

Four: 0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2 metres, which can be aligned along the same setting out to cover the length of the mounting aperture.
